Title of the Position: Rental Coordinator 

Reports to: Board of Directors; first contact is President of the Board 

Overall Responsibility: Meet and arrange for rentals at the center including checkout after rental 

Key areas of Responsibility: 

• Answer rental questions either by phone, email or in person 

• Show center to prospective renter when necessary 

•Make sure that rental contract/cleanup checklist is signed and understood by renter 

•Collect appropriate monies 

•Update calendar on website expeditiously 

•Enter new key code/delete old key code 

•Change marquee when appropriate 

•Lock and unlock dumpster during high season according to rental needs 

•? Stock center with pre approved toiletries and cleaning items 

•? Check interior of center and grounds for proper cleanup 

•? Check center for possible damage 

•? Give option to renter to come back to correct issue or inform them that deposit will be 


•? Submit request to board for reimbursement of security deposit or not if damage or 

   checklist not followed by renter 

•? Send out security deposit to all approved returns by the board 

•Submit rental commission requests to the board for approval. 

 • Consults with: Board President on any questions and passes along any rental complaints or concerns            that may arise

•? Good organizational skills 

•? Good communication skills  

•? Attention to details 

•? Computer literate 

•? Confidentiality in all matters 

•? Understanding that information and board decisions ARE confidential.

•Basic Spanish a plus.
